Who we are looking for

At Bra Liv Norrahammar Health Centre, we are now looking for an engaged and solution-focused occupational therapist who wants to combine clinical work with rehabilitation coordination in a cross-professional primary care environment. The role will involve approximately half-time rehabilitation coordination and half-time tasks as an occupational therapist.

This is a combined position where you will divide your time between traditional occupational therapy work and the advanced rehabilitation coordinator role. The exact setup regarding the occupational therapy tasks is flexible and will be planned together with you, depending on your competence.

As an occupational therapist, you work with assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients of all ages. The work includes, among other things, hand rehabilitation, fitting/manufacturing of custom orthoses, memory assessments, activity and function assessments, and work with activity balance. As an occupational therapist, you will become an important part of the work we do for those seeking support to manage their daily lives, not least for people with neuropsychiatric conditions.

As a rehabilitation coordinator in primary care, you play a vital role in promoting the sick leave process through early coordination efforts. In the role of rehabilitation coordinator, you will function as a collaboration partner and a primary contact person both internally at the health centre and externally, in contacts such as with employers, occupational health services, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Public Employment Service, or other authorities. You work with identifying and prioritizing patients who need coordinated efforts. You also work with mapping patients' rehabilitation needs and supporting the patient in the rehabilitation plan to help the patient regain work capacity.

Requirements:

• Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in rehabilitation coordination is an advantage.

You have experience working independently but appreciate and participate in teamwork. You have good communication skills and see dialogue as an important tool in your contacts with patients, employers, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and other colleagues at the health centre.

What we offer you

We offer you a fixed-term position (vacation replacement) on a full-time basis for approximately 1 year, starting as agreed.

You will receive an individual introduction based on your competence and experience, individual competence development, and joint competence-enhancing activities with the other occupational therapists and rehabilitation coordinators at Bra Liv Health Centres. You will share the rehabilitation coordinator assignment with a colleague, thereby having great opportunities for continuous collegial supervision and support in your work.
