About the School

The Montessori School in Norrtälje is an independent primary school with approximately 500 students during the 2026/2027 academic year. The school is centrally located on Stockholm Road, with proximity to both the city's opportunities and beautiful nature.

Our operations are based on the fundamental principles of Montessori pedagogy – where each student's individual development, responsibility, and curiosity are at the center. Sports, outdoor life, movement, and health are also important elements in our operations.

About the Position

We are now seeking certified primary school teachers for grades 5-6, Math/Science.

You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in close collaboration with colleagues, with a focus on each student's needs and potential. Our active values-based work is a natural part of everyday life and lays the foundation for security, study peace, and good goal fulfillment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified primary school teacher with the eligibility to teach grades 4–6.
• have a good ability to translate the curriculum and regulatory documents into practical teaching
• are a confident, clear, and inspiring leader in the classroom
• find it easy to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• have a strong commitment and want to be involved in the school's development
