Specialist Doctor in General Medicine Wanted at Storvik Health Centre

Storvik Health Centre currently has approximately 25 employees and provides primary care services including a doctor's clinic, district nurse clinic, assistant nurse clinic, Child Health Centre (BVC) at the family centre, a psychosocial team, occupational therapy, health scientists, physiotherapy, and home visits. We also have specialist clinics for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. All employees are highly engaged and participate in the development of our operations. A positive atmosphere and excellent collaboration between all professional categories characterize our workplace. We currently have around 6,000 registered patients, and this number is growing. We are centrally located in Storvik, which has good transport links by both bus and train, only 25 minutes from Gävle and 37 minutes from Falun.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Specialist Doctor in General Medicine, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the health centre. Your specialist competence is a crucial prerequisite for our shared mission to support, treat, and guide people towards a healthier life.

As a Specialist Doctor in General Medicine with us, you will work with, among other things:

• Clinic work involving acute visits, new patient consultations, and follow-up visits.
• Supervision of doctors in training.
• Child Health Centre (BVC), care for the elderly in their homes (SÄBO), and home visits.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have good collaboration skills and thrive working together with colleagues and patients. You are also flexible and responsible.

In the role of Specialist Doctor in General Medicine, you must have:

• Swedish medical license.
• Specialist training in General Medicine.
• Experience in supervising others.

For this position, experience in primary care is considered an advantage.
