At our Vocational High School, students learn a trade from the ground up – directly on real job sites. More than half of the training time is spent on work-based learning (WBL), giving our students practical experience, confidence in their professional roles, and a head start in the labor market. With the support of dedicated supervisors, vocational teachers, and educators, we create a meaningful and secure learning environment where students develop both professionally and personally. As part of our work to broaden perspectives and strengthen students' future opportunities, we also offer internships and exchanges abroad through Erasmus+ – a valued opportunity that develops language skills, self-confidence, and provides valuable experiences.

Vocational High School Väsby is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher for the Plumbing and Property Program. However, if you have at least five years of work experience from the plumbing industry, you are also welcome to apply. Here, students learn a trade from the ground up on real job sites with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the future plumbers. More than half of the students' training time takes place at a workplace, giving them a stable foundation and an advantage in the labor market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their supervisors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Plumbing and Property or alternatively has at least five years of experience from the plumbing industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a B driver's license and preferably access to a personal car.
• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented, collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or alternatively substantial experience in plumbing and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of plumbers. Teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
