NP Innovation develops and delivers advanced water treatment solutions for land-based fish farming. Our systems ensure good water quality – which is crucial for fish health, production stability, and a sustainable food system.

Through our solutions, we enable large-scale fish farming with low environmental impact and contribute to solving one of our time's greatest global challenges: how to produce protein for a growing population without destroying the planet.

We are now looking for a Constructor and Product Developer who wants to help develop the next generation of our technical solutions – from idea and concept to finished product in operation with the customer.

In the role of Constructor and Product Developer…

you will have a central and operational role in NP Innovation's product and technology development. You will work closely throughout the entire development chain – from feasibility studies and concepts, via design, prototype, and validation, to the finished product. The role involves close collaboration with production, after-sales, and sales, where technology, function, and customer benefit are woven together.

You drive and participate in development projects with responsibility for design, technical solutions, and validation. The work is varied and combines theoretical design with practical elements such as prototype building, testing, and verification in real-world environments.

In practice, the role means you help ensure that our water purification systems continue to be the critical infrastructure that keeps fish healthy, farms profitable, and aquaculture sustainable on a large scale.

To succeed in the role of Constructor and Product Developer, you need…

• a strong technical interest and thrive in a role where you get to be involved from idea to finished product

• experience in design and product development, preferably within mechanics, process technology, or similar – experience with hydraulics, filtration, or water treatment is a merit

• experience working with CAD and design in materials such as sheet metal, and preferably plastic and/or composite

• experience participating in or leading development and product development projects throughout the entire chain

• ability to help set up test environments for validation and to summarize and interpret results

• ability to translate technical solutions into customer benefit and business value

• being collaborative, unpretentious, and solution-focused

• fluent communication skills in Swedish and English

The candidate must have at least a university degree in engineering or a technical subject.
