Adult Education is a unit comprising study and career counselors, administrators, education coordinators, and a principal. All adult education provided by us is either authorized or conducted through Individual Courses (IKE). We enjoy working together and value a positive work environment. Job Description

As a study and career counselor at Komvux (Adult Education), you play a crucial role for our citizens in navigating their educational journey and career.

In this role, you will work with individual counseling, study planning, and follow-up, as well as collaboration with education providers and colleagues within the unit, to ensure good service and quality in adult education.

Qualifications

To succeed in this assignment, you should:

We are looking for you who have a degree as a study and career counselor, as well as work experience in study and career counseling within adult education/Komvux, or other work experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are accustomed to working digitally in administrative systems.

We would also like you to meet the following qualifications:

• We are looking for someone who is confident and stable in their professional role and enjoys interacting with people.
• You have a service-oriented and professional attitude, good communication skills, and can adapt counseling to the individual's needs and prerequisites.
• You have the ability to work in a structured and independent manner, while also appreciating collaboration and actively contributing to a positive work climate.
