Rösjöskolan is located in Edsberg, with close proximity to nature reserves and Lake Rösjön. Approximately 420 students from preschool class to grade 6 study here. We offer school and leisure activities for students in primary school, adapted primary school, and preparatory classes. The activity has a school environment that creates all prerequisites for movement, learning, and health, and our employees are driven by making a difference and creating conditions so that every student can reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. Job Responsibilities

We continue to grow and are now looking for another special needs teacher to join our wonderful team at the adapted primary school. Together with your colleagues, you will create the best conditions for students' learning and development. Your work involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing teaching in the classroom. You are responsible for leading and following up on teaching together with the work team and actively participating in the work towards the school's goals.

In teaching, you use both digital and analog tools in a thoughtful way to strengthen students' participation and development. The work is based on a salutogenic approach, where your perspective is an important puzzle piece in creating good learning environments and giving students the best possible conditions for success.

Qualifications

As a special needs teacher, you build trusting relationships with students and see the relationship as a central part of learning. You are self-motivated, take initiative, and are communicative, while confidently driving your work forward and being able to conduct conversations and dialogues in an inclusive and structured manner. To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate collaboration and a dynamic operation, and you view learning as a process where both students and adults are constantly developing.

Requirements:

• You have a teaching license and are a special needs teacher with a focus on intellectual disability.

Merits:

• Experience working as a special needs teacher in adapted primary school
• Experience and knowledge of PECS, AAC, and/or TBA
• Good knowledge of autism and neurodevelopmental disorders (NPD) in combination with intellectual disability (ID)
