ABOUT THE ROLE:

In the role of Test Automation Engineer with our client, you will work on verification and quality assurance of advanced ADAS features. You will become part of a team responsible for developing and improving automated tests in both Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, with the goal of ensuring high quality and robustness in software deliveries.

A significant part of the role involves developing and maintaining automated test cases in Python, where you will work with functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing. You will also analyze test results, troubleshoot test outcomes, and conduct root cause analyses to identify and follow up on deviations. Based on system requirements, you will create test cases, test scenarios, and test specifications, as well as contribute to the planning and development of the overall verification strategy.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Hold a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Have 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Have good knowledge of SIL and/or HIL through professional experience.
  • Have experience with CI/CD pipelines, as well as developing and analyzing test cases.
  • Have very good skills in Python and C/C++.
  • Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily internal and external communication.

It is not required, but advantageous if you have:

  • Experience with Docker, CarWeaver, and/or Pandas.

Furthermore, great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who is analytical, quality-conscious, and has a structured and meticulous working method. You easily take initiative and thrive in a role with many contact points. Additionally, you have a genuine interest in technology and a desire to continuously improve working methods, processes, and testing environments.
