About Us

The Angered Midwife Clinic is part of Area M4, which includes the midwife clinics in Gothenburg. The area is HBTQ-certified and operates according to the management and quality system ISO 9001:2015.

The clinic is located at Angered Square with good transport connections. We operate in a multicultural area, which contributes to exciting and developmental work in meeting people from all parts of the world. Nine midwives and one nursing assistant work at the clinic. The operations collaborate with three family centers and have a close cooperation with the midwife clinic in Bergsjön.

About the Work

As a midwife, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Tasks include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample checks, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and group parenting support. The role also includes telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and supervision of students. The clinic has a close and well-functioning cooperation with the family centers in the area.

We want to promote the development of our employees and work according to career development models, where we map your competence in relation to the model, and what could be the next step in terms of education, development, and tasks. You are involved in both your own and the clinic's development, and we value your initiative.

We offer mentorship to all employees and place great emphasis on a good individualized introduction. As a midwife with us, you receive up to ten competence development days per year, including training days, planning days, and conferences. We actively work for a good working environment and believe it is important that our employees enjoy working here.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and collaborate easily. With your good social skills, you contribute to a positive and professional work climate and treat both patients and colleagues with respect, engagement, and a warm, professional attitude. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

During the first year, your main placement will be at the clinic in Angered. Thereafter, a main placement at another clinic may become relevant based on operational needs.

Working hours are primarily during the day, but some evening duties may occur.

Selection and interviews are conducted continuously during the application period.
