About the Department

The clinic is located in central Trollhättan, where you will be offered an exciting and challenging assignment. You will be part of our work group of 18 people. The work group consists of doctors, medical secretaries, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers.

We have close cooperation with two other psychiatric clinics located in the same building, NP-LARO (which includes the Mobile Team) and the Psychosis-Bipolar Clinic. Together, we are a large work group with different focuses under the same roof, and we have a good work community. We view competence supply as mutually beneficial, as we believe the desire to contribute to the development of the activity increases when one feels inspired in their daily work.

Description

Our clinic is the base of the specialist psychiatric activity, where the goal is to offer good care based on science and proven experience, both in assessment and investigation as well as treatment and rehabilitation. The target group is people who need psychiatric specialist care for, for example, more severe anxiety disorders, serious depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, complex trauma, or serious personality disorders.

About the Position

As an occupational therapist with us, you contribute to seeing the patient from a holistic perspective by highlighting issues regarding activity capacity and function.

You will, among other things, work with:

• Complementing medical treatment with assessment and investigation regarding activity and functional capacity.
• Individual support.
• Collaboration with care neighbors and other authorities regarding the team's patients.
• Pedagogical group treatments.

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist. Education in conversation methods, such as CBT, is meritorious.

For the assignment, you must also have good communicative skills both orally and in writing, be able to work independently and in a group, be flexible, patient-focused, act professionally, and have a good attitude towards patients and colleagues.
