Trafikområde Göta Älv is one of Nobina's 17 traffic areas in Sweden. With approximately 700 employees and 240 buses, we are responsible for operating and developing bus traffic along the Göta Älv river in collaboration with our client, Västtrafik. We have depots in Vänersborg, Trollhättan, Lilla Edet, Älvängen, Stenungsund, Gothenburg, and Angered.
Your Responsibilities
The property operations team ensures that we have functional properties and premises according to the boundaries defined with the property owner. At our bus depots, we have workshops, wash halls, bus ramps, offices, staff facilities, and charging infrastructure for our electric buses.
- Your main responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of our electric bus charging system, from transformer stations to charging equipment.
- You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing the technical components of all facilities, including oil separators, vehicle washes, and purification plants.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of the properties, including supervision and rounds.
- Receive fault reports, rectify issues, provide feedback, and document actions.
- Order measures and coordinate with contractors as needed.
- The role also involves managing utility supplies such as compressed air, electricity, district heating, and glycol for both the property and production.
Your days will be spent on repairs and maintenance, systematic fire safety work, fault reporting, and other operational tasks related to an industrial property. Outdoor work is also part of the role, so it is important that you enjoy working outside. You will be responsible for 4–5 different properties, which requires a valid B-driver's license.
Personal Qualities and Requirements
Nobina operates many electric buses, and it is crucial that the charging infrastructure functions correctly. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you have an interest in charging stations and some experience in handling technical faults. The role may also involve some administrative work, where structure and attention to detail are important. As a person, you are service-oriented, social, and driven. You thrive working both independently and in a team, and you are proactive in solving problems and improving processes. We also look for someone who is responsible, with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively. We are looking for you who have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a facility technician, preferably from industrial or property companies.
- Education as a facility technician or equivalent.
- Valid B-driver's license.
- Experience with electrical work and preferably limited electrical competence according to the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's ELSÄK-FS 2017:4 (meritorious).
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, as some communication takes place in English.
