Do you want to help shape the future of procurement in a municipality that is investing in sustainability, innovation, and digital development? Are you a procurement specialist with business drive, strategic thinking, and a non-hierarchical approach? Do you thrive in a role where relationships, collaboration, and curiosity are just as important as the procurement process itself? Then we might be looking for you!
We are now looking for a procurement specialist who will primarily be part of our service procurement team, but who may also conduct procurements within the Care team. The role involves working closely with several teams and becoming a natural bridge between them – something that requires flexibility, confidence in collaboration, and experience navigating environments where not all prerequisites are in place from the start.
Here, you will have the opportunity to work across category boundaries, contribute to the development of new working methods, and drive procurements in areas where we sometimes explore the ground while walking. We are looking for someone who thrives in this type of assignment, enjoys solving problems together, and sees the value in building good relationships both internally and externally.
The role of Procurement Specialist with us
In this role, you plan, execute, and follow up on business deals, primarily within the service category, and you may also have the opportunity to work with the care category when needed. This gives you a broad role with multiple contact surfaces and varied assignments.
You work with the entire purchasing process – from needs analysis and early dialogues to procurement, contracts, and follow-up. Since you will be working with several teams, the ability to build relationships, collaborate, and work in a non-hierarchical manner is a key success factor. You need to thrive in situations where the assignment is not 100% defined from the start and where you contribute to shaping the process together with the operations.
You will become part of an engaged category team consisting of a procurement manager, procurement specialists, e-commerce coordinator, and e-commerce administrator. You will also work closely with colleagues in other categories as well as our specialists, such as the procurement lawyer and sustainability coordinator. We continuously develop our category-driven working method and work together to create value for the entire municipality.
Here, you will have the opportunity to influence, challenge, and develop yourself through coaching leadership – and above all, experience job satisfaction and make a real difference!
Your profile
We believe that you work in a structured manner, are service-oriented, and have a natural ability to create trust and build good relationships. You are non-hierarchical, communicative, and thrive in a team-oriented working environment. You are solution-oriented and handle changes and new prerequisites with confidence, curiosity, and collaboration skills. You have a desire to work for better business deals and contribute to the development of better working methods.
You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable with many contact surfaces and collaboration moments. In this recruitment, great importance will be placed on your personal skills and your willingness to develop within procurement.
We are looking for someone who has:
- post-secondary education in fields such as economics, law, social sciences, or another relevant direction. Alternatively, experience from purchasing, procurement, or another regulated business process.
- experience working with parts of – or the entire – public sector business, preferably in the role of a procurement specialist.
- good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and a desire to deepen your expertise further.
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience in service procurement
- experience in procurement within the care sector.
- experience in contract follow-up or work in contract groups.
- a few years of experience working with procurement in the public sector and the application of the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
