Do you want to work in a high-quality environment where children's curiosity, learning, and development are at the center? Our preschool unit consists of two preschools, and we are now looking for two dedicated preschool teachers for our youngest children's departments at Kullen Preschool.

About the Activity

The preschools are located in Lilla Alby in central Sundbyberg, with excellent public transport connections. Here you will meet large, inspiring courtyards and bright, fresh premises that create good conditions for play, exploration, and learning. At the unit, we work from a strong value base where all children are given equal opportunities for joyful learning. We have strong confidence in children's abilities and learning, as well as a great commitment to creative forms of expression and children's dog breed knowledge. Sustainable development permeates the entire education, and our project-oriented approach starts from the children's interests and needs. Over the past year, we have had a special focus on teaching from a full-day perspective. This is reflected, among other things, in our outdoor environments where we have developed a station system that strengthens teaching throughout the day. Adventure pedagogy, movement, and health are also important elements in our education.

Working Methods and Development

In the City of Sundbyberg, we work from a 0–20-year perspective, with the goal that all children are given the opportunity to go as far as possible: 'What do you want to be when you grow up? We make it possible.' We work closely together within the unit, where collegial learning is a central part of our development. With us, we start from the attitude that all children in the preschool are everyone's responsibility – "all children are my children." Everyone is part of the whole.

Within Sundbyberg's preschools, we also work with a multidisciplinary approach through STEAM. As support for this, there is Kvasar Makerspace – a meeting place and idea bank that gives educators and children the opportunity to explore and try materials and participate in workshops. About the Role

In the role of preschool teacher, you lead the pedagogical development work and actively contribute to the development and change processes of the activity. You plan, implement, follow up, analyze, and evaluate the teaching together with the work team. You are brave and dare to try new things.

The position currently has a special focus on the learning and changed knowledge of the youngest children.

We are looking for you who

• are a licensed preschool teacher
• have good leadership skills and experience leading work teams in pedagogical work and process-oriented approach
• are a co-researching educator who is interested in developing teaching and organizing pedagogical environments
• are engaged, flexible, solution-focused, and see opportunities
• have good ability to express yourself in Swedish orally and in writing
• can and want to work with all ages in preschool
• have digital competence and use digital tools in teaching
• Meritorious if you are a VFU supervisor as we receive VFU students
• Great importance will be attached to your personal qualities and attitude

Employment

Permanent full-time position with start date as agreed.
