Job Description
We are looking for a primary school teacher specializing in after-school care who is accustomed to working with and developing activities at the after-school center. Your role involves continuing to develop the after-school programs. You will work together with pedagogues and conduct after-school pedagogical sessions during the school day. In the afternoons, the activity transitions to after-school care operations. Together with your colleagues, you will work in a goal-oriented manner with planning, implementation, follow-up, evaluation, and documentation. We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to pedagogy, collaboration, and development so that students can reach their full potential.
- You will, together with other pedagogues, plan, implement, and develop after-school activities based on steering documents.
- The teaching within the framework of the students' entire school day should be characterized by a language-developing approach.
- You are engaged and participate actively in the planning and evaluation of the work. In daily contacts with guardians, you are engaged, student-focused, and service-oriented.
- You value the students' movement during the school day, both during class time and leisure time, and are comfortable teaching both indoors and outdoors.
- You are responsible for driving the development of the after-school center together with other teachers/pedagogues at the school.
- Support the students' social development and learning.

In your role as an after-school teacher, you will contribute to ensuring that students receive the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development. This is so that they, based on their own prerequisites, can develop as far as possible.
In your work, you plan, implement, and evaluate teaching at the after-school center together with your colleagues. You are responsible for ensuring that general and extra adjustments are available, implemented, and evaluated for students who need them.
By identifying and utilizing all signs of progress, individual adaptation is facilitated, and you ensure that the most effective methods are used so that every student succeeds.
With your solution-focused approach, you have a positive attitude and see it as your responsibility to create good and sustainable relationships with the students and their guardians, as well as with colleagues and school leadership.
You are a good role model, like structure, are full of ideas, and see every interaction with students as an opportunity.
You have good collaboration skills, are proactive, and look at the whole picture for each student. You know how to best adapt after-school teaching to provide a good learning environment and build on what is successful in each student.
Qualifications
- You are passionate about working with the development of after-school care.
- It is clearly visible in your work that you focus on goals and that your work is based on the analysis of results.
- You work well in a team but can also take individual initiative for activities.
- You have extensive knowledge of how people acquire knowledge from different prerequisites and can adapt your work accordingly.
- You value student influence highly.
- You are outgoing and social, create contacts, and maintain relationships.
- You distinguish between the personal and the professional, behaving in a way adapted to the situation.
