Job Responsibilities

As an hourly employee within home care services, you contribute to creating a safe, secure, and meaningful everyday life for our users. The tasks are varied and adapted to both the operational requirements and the individual's needs. You will receive an introduction and training in nursing, transfer techniques, medication management, and documentation.

This position is for you who want to work within home care services in Härryda Municipality. Working hours vary, and shifts can start from 07:00 and last until 23:00, which means flexibility and availability are important.

You work in the users' homes and provide support in daily life through personal care, meals, social activities, escorting to healthcare and community visits, as well as practical chores such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

Working hours are irregular and can include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Working within home care services requires you to be independent, responsible, and able to make quick decisions. You also need to enjoy working alone. As compensation for this, a higher salary is offered compared to other operations within the municipality.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Driver's license for work within home care services.
• Availability to work weeks 25-34.
• Ability to work in Landvetter or Rävlanda.
• Ability to commute to and from Landvetter or Rävlanda during early mornings and late evenings (07:00-23:00).
• Ability to take and follow instructions as well as delegated tasks.
• Extract from the Police Register (Swedish: belastningsregister) – Control of own information and work in the home with the elderly.

Merits

• Relevant education within healthcare, care, or functional support.
• Experience of work within elderly care, home care services, functional support, or personal assistance.
• Experience with the current target group.
• Experience of documentation in operational systems.
• A few years of work experience.
