Teacher in After-School Center with 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract Sought at Noblaskolan Saltsjö-Boo

Noblaskolan Saltsjö-Boo is a preschool and primary school with high ambitions and a language profile. We currently have approximately 900 students in primary school and 70 children in preschool. Through good relationships and high expectations for both staff and students, we work together to achieve our vision – Engagement, joy, and learning in a safe environment. The operations are located in the beautiful nature of Tollare in Saltsjö-Boo and offer an outdoor environment that invites to active play.

Your Assignment

Do you want to help create a safe and stimulating environment for children and young people? At Noblaskolan Saltsjö-Boo, we are now looking for an engaged and responsible teacher in the after-school center who wants to be part of our team in the lower primary grades.

Qualifications

You are a clear and secure person in your professional role and create structure and stability for the students. You work with an inclusive and respectful approach and have a great commitment to the students' development. You have very good knowledge of the curriculum and use it actively in your teaching. You take responsibility for your assignment, are solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where the operations are developed together on a scientific basis and proven experience.

About the Position

As a teacher in the after-school center with us, you will have the opportunity to work in a creative and developmental environment where the children's learning and well-being are in focus. During the school day, you support the students in their teaching, and during leisure time, you are a major part of leading the after-school activities forward by creating safe relationships and contributing to a positive leisure time for our students. Today, we are two teachers in the after-school center but wish to become more and continue to develop our after-school activities further. The position is for one year as a fixed-term contract because one of our employees will be on parental leave. There may be an opportunity for a permanent position after this one-year period.

• Has a great interest in children's development and learning

As a teacher in the after-school center, you work closely with the colleagues in your work team, and together with the other after-school teachers at the school, you will lead the after-school activities forward. They have allocated planning time per week for this purpose. You will belong to a grade level in the lower primary school, and at our school, we work with grade-specific after-school departments. However, we still work very much across the after-school departments in the afternoons as we have joint meetings and plan certain activities and holidays together.

It is important to develop! We set demands on both our students and our teachers, and we support and challenge each other to go even further. It is also important that we have fun at work and that we all contribute to raising the mood and live up to our vision even among colleagues.

We offer a fixed-term contract for one year on a full-time basis with an start date in early August 2026, and there may be an opportunity for a permanent position after the completed fixed-term contract.
