About the Job

In the role of student assistant/resource teacher, you will work targeted towards one or a few students during the school day. This involves working in the classroom together with teachers and the rest of the class, as well as individual work with students outside the classroom. In the afternoons, you will participate with other leisure center staff in the work at the leisure center, with a particular focus on individual students.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who enjoys the school environment, likes to collaborate, and has a calm, clear, and respectful approach towards children and young people. Experience from similar assignments is desirable, but you do not need to know everything from the start. You should have a willingness to learn, try new things, and take responsibility for your assignment. We appreciate humor, patience, and a good sense of when to encourage, listen, or step in to manage a situation.

We want you to:

• have completed upper secondary education
• be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team
• be secure, stable, and clear in interactions with students in various situations
• have experience working with younger age groups in primary school

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience working with children with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders)
• have experience with self-care for children with diabetes
