We are looking for a district doctor to work with home healthcare and special housing, with responsibility for patients listed at Likenäs Health Centre who are 75+.

Your responsibilities

As a district doctor with us, you will work with:

• Comprehensive medical assessment of patients within home healthcare and special housing. You work systematically with annual check-ups, medication reviews, and determine the level of continued care and any treatment limitations.
• You are responsible as a full-time specialist for a maximum of 1,100 patients, where the list is adjusted based on how much of your working time is allocated to home healthcare and special housing (SÄBO).
• Health promotion and preventive work, especially for the elderly and people with chronic conditions.
• Collaboration with nurses and rehabilitation staff within municipal and regional operations.
• Participation in development work for equal, secure, and person-centered care.

The work involves significant responsibility but also offers good opportunities for personal influence, flexibility, and a high degree of independent work.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed physician and specialist in general practice.
• hold a category B driver's license.
• enjoy working independently and organizing your own work.
• have an interest in elderly care, chronic diseases, and close-to-home care.
• wish to contribute to sustainable care, where resource usage, equality, and a good work environment go hand in hand.
