About the operations:
Bällstabergsskolan is a two-stream primary and lower secondary school (Grades F-9) in southern Vallentuna, close to the Roslag railway. It is a safe and well-functioning school where both students and staff thrive. Students are given good conditions to develop both academically and socially. Our operations are characterized by dedicated and competent teachers, leisure staff, and student health services who work together to ensure every student reaches their full potential. The school has functional premises, and each division has its own cafeteria, creating a calm and pleasant environment.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an engaged and certified teacher with qualifications to teach music. Music teaching accounts for 60 percent of the position (three days a week). For those with qualifications in an additional subject, the position can be combined to a full-time position of up to 100 percent.
As a music teacher here, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing music teaching based on the goals and central content of the curriculum. Through singing, instrumental playing, rhythmics, digital tools, and music creation, you stimulate students' curiosity, creativity, and desire to learn.
We see music as a natural and living part of the school's culture and are therefore looking for you who want to contribute to developing the school's traditions, concerts, theme days, and other musical activities.
In the role of teacher, you help create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites. You plan and organize teaching with clear structure and goals in accordance with the curriculum. Through pedagogical planning communicated to both students and guardians, you create participation and clarity in learning.
With clear pedagogical leadership and good collaboration skills, you build relationships that promote motivation, security, and knowledge development. You are solution-oriented, flexible, and actively contribute to a positive work environment where quality and development are in focus. Your teaching is characterized by trust in students' abilities and a varied working method that awakens engagement and joy in creation. By adapting teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites, you strengthen both their learning and motivation.
As part of the school's work and subject team, you actively participate in collegial learning, shared responsibility, and the school's systematic quality work.
Qualifications:
- Certified teacher with qualifications in music for Grades F-9.
- Experience in music teaching.
- Good digital competence.
- Advantageous with qualifications in another subject.
