Do you want to combine new customer acquisition with long-term customer relationships in a business where quality, collaboration, and commercial acumen are in focus? We are now looking for a salesperson who wants to take clear business responsibility within two areas with different dynamics; Interior and Industry.

At National Halmstad Performance Polymers AB in Halmstad, we develop customized polymer solutions that become an important part of our customers' end products – often components that must function, last, and deliver in demanding environments.

We are a privately owned company with roots dating back to 1941 and today have approximately 120 employees at our facility in Halmstad. Here we combine long experience with curiosity and a desire to constantly develop.

Together with our sister companies within the National Group, we offer a holistic solution – a so-called “one stop shop” – with four facilities, approximately 225 employees, and a turnover of around 460 MSEK (2024–2025). This gives us both the resources of a larger group and the close, family-like feeling in everyday life.

At our company, several production methods and material competencies meet. We work with everything from cellular materials, plastic, cork, and fiber to joining and assembly – and create solutions that really make a difference for our customers. What does the role offer?

This role suits you who want to combine business drive with long-term thinking. You will be responsible for two business areas with different characteristics, where you both drive new business and develop existing customer relationships over time. Your geographical market is Sweden with an estimated 70 travel days.

Within Interior, you work in a more dynamic and fast-paced business flow where the focus is on finding new customers and creating business within areas such as public environments, workplaces, and commercial spaces. Here the dialogue is customer-centric and solutions are shaped based on function, material choice, and design.

Within Industry, you work more long-term with established customer relationships where quality, delivery security, and continuity are central parts of the business. Here it is about developing and broadening collaborations over time through increased volume, more applications, and new opportunities.

Below we list some of your upcoming tasks:

  • Drive and develop the business within Interior and Industry
  • Actively work with new customer acquisition and create new business opportunities
  • Develop and broaden existing customer relationships over time
  • Be responsible for the business from first contact to quote, closing, and follow-up
  • Capture customer needs and develop solutions together with internal functions
  • Coordinate the dialogue between customer, production, and other internal functions
  • Ensure efficient and professional execution throughout the entire business process
  • Work systematically with pipeline, forecasts, and follow-up

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in B2B sales and are used to driving business from first contact to closing. You thrive in a role where you get to combine new customer acquisition with long-term relationship building and have the ability to adapt your working method based on different types of customers and businesses.

You have a good business understanding and feel confident in dialogues regarding solution, price, and terms. At the same time, you are structured in your approach and used to working with pipeline, prioritization, and follow-up to drive the business forward.

We would like you to have experience from the interior segment, for example, public environments, workplace solutions, or acoustics. If you have also worked with materials, components, or solutions related to comfort, acoustics, or interior environments, it is a merit.

As a person, you are communicative, relationship-building, and solution-oriented. You thrive with many contact surfaces and find it easy to collaborate with both customers and internal functions. You like to take responsibility, create structure, and drive the work forward in a commercial manner.
