We are now looking for an engaged assistant nurse for Bäckgården's dementia care facility. Bäckgården is a homely residence for people with dementia. The environment is adapted for those living there. Surrounding Bäckgården is an enclosed garden, and adjacent to the residence is a day activity center. There are a total of 26 apartments. At Bäckgården, we collaborate closely to create the best possible quality of life for our residents. RESPONSIBILITIES
As an assistant nurse with us, you work closely with the residents and are an important part of their daily lives. Your main responsibilities include:
- Being a dedicated care contact for one or more residents.
- Working from a person-centered approach.
- Creating a safe, meaningful, and stimulating daily life for the residents.
- Collaborating with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and next of kin.
- Working with quality registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people with dementia and want to contribute to high-quality care.
- You must be trained as an assistant nurse.
- Experience in elderly care is advantageous, preferably in dementia care.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Strong empathetic skills and a professional attitude.
- Flexible, responsible, and solution-focused.
Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Working hours: Schedule. We apply annual working hours, with a fixed 5-week schedule. 2 out of 5 weekends.
As part of the recruitment process, we require extract from the Swedish Crime Register upon employment for positions involving work with children, students, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and leadership roles.
Upon employment, you will need to prove your citizenship and right to work in Sweden.
