What does the job as a nursing assistant/care assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a secure and meaningful life in their golden years. We always start from the resident's wishes and own abilities, focusing on their well-being. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care and nursing based on the elderly person's individual needs. Common tasks may include help with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residence's apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to pleasant activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put!

About Kastanjen Care Residence

Kastanjen has 16 apartments spread over two floors, focusing on people with dementia. The residence is centrally located in Johannelund with good bus connections.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Also, that you find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.

• It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 credits.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience within elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We would like you to have good computer skills/computer experience and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
