Bergfoten School is a grades F-6 school located in a pleasant area with a nice schoolyard, forest nearby, and within walking distance to Tyresö center. About the position

The position involves pedagogical work in primary school with class teacher responsibilities. We are open to trying out new ideas so that the children have a learning, varied, exciting, fun, meaningful, and stimulating life. You will have the opportunity to constantly develop and change the operations together with other educators.

At Bergfoten School, we work with shared mentorship, which means that together with your closest colleagues, you are responsible for all students in a grade and for their education.

Reading is at the center of our work. We know that a secure and joyful reading development is the foundation for all learning. Therefore, we actively work with evidence-based tools such as LegiLexi and FonoMix to strengthen students' linguistic awareness, reading fluency, and reading comprehension from an early age.

Permanent position at 100%, monthly salary, start date August 10. We have ongoing interviews and the position is published with the reservation that it may be filled by surplus employees within the framework of ongoing reorganization in the municipality.

Who are you?

You have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in several subjects in the younger ages F-3. You are well acquainted with the curriculum and work actively based on this. You express yourself well in speech and writing.

You create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and create engagement and participation. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work and see opportunities in changes. You have good pedagogical insight with an understanding of how students acquire knowledge from different prerequisites and have the ability to work with varied teaching.
