Tyresö Gymnasium is a school that places knowledge, security, and hope for the future at the center. Our vision is to give every student the tools they need to reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point. As a school, we are in an exciting period where much is happening and developing. In the autumn of 2025, the social science and economics programs were restarted with strong application numbers. Additionally, the school offers vocational programs, introductory programs, special educational needs activities, and an adapted upper secondary school. The breadth of programs leads to a wonderful and dynamic atmosphere! Tyresö Gymnasium has many dedicated teachers and is perceived as calm and secure by both staff and students. We are a school that believes in the power of the meeting between school and working life. Our goal is to educate the next generation of professionals within trade and service, individuals who step into the working world with both confidence and the right competence.

About the Position

In the role of teacher with us, you have the pedagogical responsibility to plan and conduct teaching where the connection between theory and reality becomes clear to the students. A central part of the work involves collaboration with workplace-based learning (APL), which means that you build and maintain relationships with the business community and visit our students during their workplace-based learning periods. In addition to teaching, you act as a mentor and coach the students in their personal and professional development all the way through to graduation. You are also expected to participate actively in our joint development work to ensure that the program is at the forefront and matches the industry's needs.

The position is a permanent full-time position (100%) with a desired start date of August 10, 2026. The position is a holiday position.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who love service and sales and who now want to inspire others to choose the same path. As a person, you are a secure leader in the classroom with a natural ability to see each student's unique strengths. You are a certified teacher with a vocational teacher degree, but we also welcome you who possess substantial subject competence that we assess as equivalent.

Your background is characterized by significant experience from sales, trade, or service, which has given you good knowledge of the latest trends and requirements in the industry. With your pedagogical drive and your unpretentious manner, you create engagement and joy in work among young people, while also having an easy time building valuable contacts with external partners and companies.
