Stadsfastigheter, part of Malmö City, is looking for an experienced and technically skilled HVAC Engineer who wants to take strategic and operational responsibility for the development of the HVAC technical systems in our properties.

We offer you a key role in a technically competent team working with socially important properties – from schools and sports halls to care homes and cultural heritage sites – within an organization with high ambitions in sustainability, digitalization, and energy efficiency.

About the Position

As an HVAC Engineer with us, you are an expert in ventilation systems, heating systems, and domestic water systems. You drive technical development, review and quality assure documentation, and act as an advisor in both projects and property management. You work in close collaboration with technical managers, property managers, project managers, and other specialists within the Energy and Property Technology section.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for and continuously updating the Ventilation and Plumbing chapter in our design guidelines.
• Perform technical investigations, planning, and advisory services regarding HVAC installations.
• Quality assure HVAC documentation from external consultants.
• Participate in and develop smart solutions for power control and power limitation related to HVAC installations.
• Ensure that our HVAC technical systems comply with current laws, standards, and safety regulations.
• Cost-effectiveness by analyzing and optimizing the HVAC installations of the properties.
• Provide qualified technical support to projects and property management.

You work both independently and in teams, moving freely between strategic, technical, and operational tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• An engineering degree in installation technology, HVAC, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC design and project management in properties, or a corresponding specialist role in HVAC/Installation technology within a client organization.
• Good knowledge of AMA VVS and Kyla 25, BBR, and other applicable regulations.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish – both written and spoken – with the ability to make technology understandable.
• Good digital competence.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Meritorious:

• Experience in the public sector or work with municipal properties.
• Knowledge in power control, energy measurement, and smart property systems.
• Experience in quality assurance of system fluids.

About the Workplace

Stadsfastigheter's 200 employees manage Malmö City's properties for schools, childcare, elderly care, and culture. The portfolio amounts to over 1.9 million square meters and generates an annual turnover of approximately 2 billion SEK.
