Your new job

Tråsättraskolan is a 7-9 grade school with approximately 430 students. The school's students can apply for one of the school's two profiles, which focus on music and English, respectively.

Relationship building and clear structure are some of our key words. As part of this, we participate in a research study at Uppsala University, IBIS. We also participate in Erasmus exchanges with schools in Spain and Germany. The school has a well-functioning structure for digitalization and student computers, combined with physical teaching materials. The purpose is to create conditions for a love of learning and greater participation in the learning process, not least for students in need of special support.

We have focused on language development and reading for several years and have a well-equipped school library.

As an employee at Tråsättraskolan, you will have the opportunity to make a difference for the students in their lifelong learning. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have strong confidence in the students' competencies.

As a school librarian, you also have a pedagogical assignment to act in teaching together with the students. You are knowledgeable in guiding students on how to effectively search on the internet and in databases, as well as finding relevant books. You are also knowledgeable in source criticism and support the students' development in this area. You collaborate closely with the school's Swedish teachers.

As a resource teacher in mathematics, you support the regular teaching teachers in mathematics teaching with the students. You are knowledgeable in and interested in mathematics.

Your profile

You are trained as a librarian or have equivalent competence. You also have good knowledge of mathematics and are interested in the subject.

• A great interest in reading and literacy development
• Good leadership qualities and are clear and structured
• Good ability to meet young people at both group and individual levels
• A genuine interest in students and their development
• Good IT skills and experience documenting work in an administrative system
• Good cooperation skills and are flexible and engaged
• Easily able to communicate with others
