Habilitering is specialized healthcare for children and young people with autism, intellectual disability, motor impairment, or acquired brain injury. We provide health-promoting and treatment interventions based on each individual's unique needs and conditions, and possess specialist knowledge about how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development.

Description
We are looking for you who are interested in working with children and young people up to 18 years old with diagnoses such as autism, intellectual disability (ID), cerebral palsy, muscle diseases, inherited metabolic diseases, spina bifida, acquired brain injuries, genetic syndromes, etc. Our specialty is understanding the symptoms these diagnoses can cause as well as prevention and treatment. We follow our patients over time to see how interventions make a difference in the daily lives of both the patient and the family. Common symptoms can sometimes take unusual forms, and Habilitering can help identify these. The activity is outpatient-based and scheduled during daytime hours without on-call duties. Habilitering works in close collaboration with, among others, Child and Adolescent Medical Clinics, Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinics, DSBS, Närhälsan, and Student Health Services. Job Responsibilities
We are looking for you who are curious about our operations and want to work together with a great team. The positions are located within Habilitering Barn och Ungdom Göteborg, with placement at the Hisingen clinic. Patients are distributed across one autism/ID clinic and two motor impairment (RN) clinics. Patients with autism/ID belong to the Hisingen clinic. As a nurse, you have comprehensive knowledge of all patient groups as we staff the phone jointly and help each other when needed. You will work in a cross-professional team together with doctors, dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, speech therapists, and special educators.

Your tasks/role will be to assess and analyze, as well as plan and implement interventions in close collaboration with children/young people, parents, and other professional groups, which are then evaluated. The areas where the nurse at Habilitering primarily works are sleep, medication follow-up, elimination, nutrition/gastrostomy, and epilepsy.

You have your own clinic or joint visits with other professional groups. Interventions for children/young people can be given individually or in groups during limited periods. You will be a link for medical issues within Habilitering and have a coordinating role towards care partners. You are offered an introduction period and collegial supervision. Qualifications
You must be a licensed nurse with further education, preferably within child healthcare. Clinical experience from child and adolescent psychiatry, child and adolescent medicine, and/or child and adolescent neurology is meritorious. You have the ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
