The Home Care Service for Urban Areas Mölnlycke is centrally located in Mölnlycke, close to numerous shops, restaurants, and with good bus and train connections. We are now looking for a nursing assistant for a position starting immediately or as agreed.

Job Responsibilities

Your task with us is to provide our users with safe and good care, support in daily life, and an stimulating leisure time. Your main responsibilities will be supporting users in their homes with daily hygiene, social interaction, activities, accompaniment to doctors/community visits, and certain health and medical care interventions based on the users' individual needs. Your work also includes daily chores such as cleaning, meal support, laundry, etc.

You will work day/evening shifts and every other weekend.

Co-planning

Härryda Municipality works to increase the basic staffing and reduce the need for temporary employment. Co-planning means that you have a home unit but can also work shifts in other units within the municipality if needed. The purpose is to ensure continuity and safe care for users, while you as an employee get variety, broader experience, and opportunities for competence development. Introduction is provided to ensure you feel secure.

Requirements

  • Trained nursing assistant
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written
  • Previous work experience within care and social services
  • Good digital competence, preferably experience with social documentation
  • Ability to receive, perform, and follow delegated health and medical care tasks (HSL)
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility in daily work

Merits

  • Category B driver's license
  • Experience working in home care services
  • Experience with delegated health and medical care tasks (HSL)
  • Experience with operational systems such as Treserva and TES
  • Experience with work and documentation in the BPSD register
