Description

Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Öster is a well-functioning and pleasant outpatient clinic with long experience in psychosis care. Here, you will meet a good work environment, high ceilings, and a warm community where we learn from each other every day.
Here, we work as an engaged team consisting of nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, health educators, cleaners, and administrators. Together, we create the best possible care for our patients through clinic visits, home visits, and follow-ups via phone and digitally. Group therapy is also an important part of our work.
Responsibilities
In the role of nurse with us, you work as a case manager responsible for a number of patients according to Resource Group-ACT (R-ACT). You have close collaboration with the team that supports you in your work.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordination of patient interventions
- Patient-facing work focusing on continuity and security
- Medication management and administration
- Nursing assessments, care planning, and therapeutic conversations
- Quick and adequate interventions in case of changed well-being
- Collaboration with neighboring care providers, the municipality, and other actors
Qualifications
- Registered nurse
- Has a genuine interest in psychiatry and supporting people in their recovery
- Experience working in psychiatry is preferred

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Base Year, which is our introduction program. The Clinical Base Year is mandatory and lasts during the first year of your employment with us. The Clinical Base Year includes lectures, nursing guidance, and practical training of your profession at the Simulator Center. In addition, it includes service on at least two different wards to broaden your competence.
