We are looking for care assistants for specialized housing and home care.

Job Responsibilities

The role of a care assistant is to meet the individual's basic and specific care and nursing needs, both socially and culturally, as well as physically and psychologically. As a care assistant, you must protect and respect everyone's right to privacy and bodily integrity, self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation, so that the individual can live a dignified life and feel well-being.

The role is primarily governed by the Social Services Act (SoL), the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice, as well as municipal steering documents.

The target group consists of individuals who have been granted interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and/or health and medical care interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The role includes contributing to the development of oneself, the team, and the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an upper secondary education in care and nursing. A driver's license for home care is a requirement. You should have a burning interest in people! You should be service-oriented, have good collaboration skills, and be flexible.

Experience from care and nursing work is meritorious.

A professional certificate as a care assistant must be presented, as well as a driver's license if applicable.

Interviews and Documentation

Interviews are held continuously.

If you are called for an interview, you must be able to prove your identity in one of the following three ways:

• Passport
• National ID card showing citizenship
• ID card combined with a certificate of residence showing citizenship

If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you must also present a valid residence permit and/or work permit in Sweden.

To ensure the safety of the users, a criminal record check for work with the elderly and persons with disabilities must be presented before employment. You order the extract yourself from the Police; the extract must not be older than six months.
