As an NDT Technician, you will work in a technical role supporting Control Station KS18. The role involves close collaboration with NDT technicians in Boxholm as well as the NDT Technical Manager. You are responsible for the entire workflow process, with a special focus on inspection and testing equipment such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle inspection, surface defect inspection, and related equipment.
The role combines technical work, analysis, quality assurance, and collaboration within production.
This is a direct employment position with Ovako.
Responsibilities- Ensure functionality, status, and reliability of testing and inspection equipment
- Handle and analyze non-conforming material and participate in root cause investigations
- Support operators in daily operations
- Work with preventive and corrective maintenance
- Participate in quality work
- Contribute to improvement and development projects

About youWe are looking for someone who currently works in production, maintenance, quality, or engineering and wants to develop within NDT. This role is well-suited for you if you want to take the next step and build specialist competence over time. An interest in technology and a willingness to develop are important, as mandatory training and certifications within NDT are included as a natural part of the role.
Qualifications- Experience from production and/or maintenance in process industry
- Technical interest and ability to work in a structured manner
- Good computer skills
- Basic knowledge of English
- An organized approach, integrity, and good collaboration skills
- Experience in non-destructive testing
- Knowledge of ultrasonic or magnetic particle testing
- Electrical/electronic background
- Familiarity with quality and regulation-driven work
