About Us

Närhälsan Krokslätt Health Centre, Child Health Centre (BVC), and the Clinic for Young People's Mental Health are located in Mölndal, on the border of Gothenburg. We are approximately 35 employees responsible for around 9,500 registered patients. All employees have high competence, great commitment, and value interdisciplinary collaboration for the benefit of patients and the organization.

The health centre offers a comprehensive range of care including a doctor's clinic, nurse and district nurse clinics, as well as a laboratory and a drop-in clinic. The BVC offers child health services. The health centre also has the additional assignment of Young People's Mental Health, which focuses on children and young people with mental illness as well as support for their relatives. The work involves assessment, counseling, and treatment both individually and in groups.

The entire health centre works together to meet our patients' needs with high medical quality and good treatment. In the same building as the health centre, there are also a Youth Clinic, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Public Dental Care, and Maternity Health Centre.

About the Job

Your duties at the health centre span a broad field and cover the area of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and therapeutic capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work takes place through both emergency and planned operations. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and interdisciplinary in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with your colleagues and your manager, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.

About You

You are a registered nurse with specialist training as a district nurse. It is meritorious if you have experience from working in primary care and/or have a 7.5 ECTS supervisor training, but we also welcome you if you are a recent graduate. If you are interested in working at the BVC, this is meritorious.

We are looking for you who take initiative in work and are confident in making your own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and that it is natural for you to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well both orally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener at both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would like you to have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

Travel for work purposes occurs, a Category B driving license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters at the HR department who invite candidates to a telephone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
