We are now looking for you who want to substitute in practical subjects such as PE, woodwork, textiles, and music.

You will work in various schools throughout the Greater Stockholm area. The duration of assignments varies from one to several days.

BILDA has collective agreements, offers an introductory training, and provides ongoing support and dialogue with an assigned contact person at BILDA.

As a substitute teacher in practical subjects, you are responsible for a whole or part of a class. Lesson plans are usually available, but in cases where they are missing, it is important to be solution-oriented to quickly create a lesson as content-rich as possible for the students.

To work as a substitute, you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience in schools
• Good command of Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience leading/speaking in front of groups

It is an advantage if you:

• Have relevant education and/or knowledge to teach languages
• Have experience in pedagogical work

To fit into the role of a substitute, we believe you have high social competence, are flexible, and are used to taking initiative. You should thrive in an energetic environment and be engaged and responsible in your work. A central part of the substitute role is also your strong interest in working with children and young people.
