Tyresö Gymnasium is a school that places knowledge, security, and hope for the future at the center. Our vision is to give every student the tools they need to reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point. As a school, we are in an expansive and exciting period where much is happening and developing. In the autumn of 2025, the social science and economics programs were restarted with strong application numbers. Additionally, the school offers vocational programs, introductory programs, special educational needs activities, and an adapted upper secondary program. The breadth of programs leads to a wonderful and dynamic atmosphere! Tyresö Gymnasium has many dedicated teachers and is perceived as calm and secure by both staff and students.

About the Position

Tyresö Gymnasium is a school in exciting development and growth. We are therefore looking for a new team member. As a teacher here, you will have a unique and varied role where you teach mathematics and biology at the lower secondary level for our students in the introductory program, as well as natural science at the upper secondary level.

In your daily role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching with a focus on creating a secure and stimulating learning environment. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in the work team to create a coherent thread in the students' education and support them in their knowledge development. You actively work to make natural sciences and mathematics understandable and relevant, and you play an important role in motivating students to reach their goals and preparing them for further studies.

This is a permanent position at 100% with a desired start date of August 10, 2026. The position is a holiday relief position.

The position is filled subject to it not being needed for internal reassignments.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach mathematics and biology at the lower secondary level, as well as natural science at the upper secondary level. As a person, you are a secure leader who creates structure and study peace in the classroom, while also functioning as an adult role model who builds trusting relationships with your students. You are flexible and solution-focused, which makes it easy for you to adapt your teaching to the group's needs and see opportunities in a growing and changing operation. Furthermore, you value collaboration highly and see it as a matter of course to collaborate with colleagues and the student health team to create the best conditions for each individual student. We are looking for you who are genuinely engaged, passionate about your subjects, and have a strong desire to continuously develop your pedagogy together with us.
