Assignment Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer.

What You Will Work On

• Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services in Java
• Develop backend systems, APIs, and data models within modern cloud environments
• Build and improve distributed backend architectures and cloud-native services
• Enhance data pipelines supporting experimentation and machine learning workflows
• Contribute to architecture decisions related to scalability, performance, and reliability
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations for high-traffic systems
• Support observability, monitoring, and operational stability of backend platforms
• Collaborate closely with product owners and cross-functional development teams
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to scalable experimentation and analytics platform capabilities
• Ensure backend solutions meet high standards for maintainability and operational excellence
• Support data-intensive and analytics-driven product development initiatives

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development using Java
• Strong experience working with large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with cloud-native development in GCP or AWS environments
• Strong understanding of scalable backend architectures and API design
• Experience operating and optimizing high-traffic backend services
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, performance, and operational reliability
• Ability to take ownership from idea through implementation and delivery
• Experience working effectively within cross-functional development teams
• Curious, collaborative, and continuously learning mindset
• Strong communication and technical collaboration skills
