Tyresö Gymnasium is a school that places knowledge, security, and hope for the future at the center. Our vision is to give every student the tools they need to reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point. As a school, we are in an expansive and exciting period where much is happening and developing. In the autumn of 2025, the social science and economics programs were restarted with strong application numbers. In addition, the school offers vocational programs, introductory programs, special educational needs activities, and an adapted upper secondary program. The breadth of programs leads to a wonderful and dynamic atmosphere! Tyresö Gymnasium has many dedicated teachers and is experienced as calm and secure by both teachers and students.

About the Position

As Tyresö Gymnasium grows, we are now looking for a new employee for our student health team. As a special needs teacher with us, you will become a central figure in our organization. Your role is an important part of ensuring that our vision of a school for all becomes a reality. You will work closely with students, subject teachers, and the student health team to identify and remove barriers to learning.

As a special needs teacher with us, you have a broad and responsible assignment where you conduct pedagogical assessments and create action plans that make a real difference in the student's daily life. You serve as an important support for your colleagues by guiding subject teachers in the art of adapting teaching, so that every classroom becomes an accessible learning environment for everyone. As Tyresö Gymnasium is in an expansive phase, you will also become a key person in our strategic work, where you help develop the school's support structures as we grow.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a certified special needs teacher and who thrive in an environment characterized by development and a forward-looking attitude. You see opportunities where others see obstacles and have the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with young people.

We are looking for you who possess high pedagogical competence and have in-depth knowledge of various functional variations, as well as the ability to use effective compensatory aids in teaching. As a person, you are a natural team player who sees collegial learning as a matter of course and who finds it easy to collaborate across subject boundaries for the benefit of the students. You are solution-focused and flexible, which means you enjoy being part of shaping new ways of working in a growing and developing organization.

This is a permanent position with a desired start date of August 10, 2026. The position is a holiday cover position.

The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignments.
