BAE Systems Bofors now needs to strengthen its assembly department with several new employees. The work is scheduled during daytime hours.

Job Description

• The position involves group assembly and/or final assembly of our guns and subsystems, handling the assembly of mechanics, hydraulics, and electronic components.
• Support during final inspection and service prior to delivery is also a natural part of the role.
• The work involves internal contacts and collaboration with support functions within production areas, as well as designers in the development department.

Qualifications

• The job places high demands on reading technical drawings and the ability to understand complex instructions. Previous documented experience in mechanics or hydraulics is desirable.
• We are primarily looking for people with experience in mechanical work in some form, e.g., automotive mechanic/vehicle mechanic, repair technician, assembler, or similar.
• We would like you to have experience working with LEAN principles. It is important that you are practical, have good teamwork skills, and a technical interest. Good knowledge of Swedish is required, and we appreciate knowledge of our corporate language, English. You should have generally good IT skills and proficiency in the Office suite.

Other Information

The position involves work that may be subject to defense secrecy, which is why we require Swedish citizenship and a security clearance approved by authorities.
