About the Workplace
Åshaga Care Home is located in central Hjärnarp at the foot of the Hallandsås ridge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared seven days a week at Åshaga. All meals are served in our restaurant to approximately 30 residents, and meals are also delivered to Bokhöjden and to one department within the care home. The kitchen prepares meals for approximately 60 guests.
Service Provider "Måltid" strives for high quality and prepares food from scratch using carefully selected ingredients.
Job Responsibilities
As a cook, your work is varied, and you are involved in all of the kitchen's daily tasks. Cooking, baking, serving, self-control checks, as well as dishwashing and cleaning, are some of the duties included.
The position includes weekend work.
Qualifications
For this position, we are looking for you who are a trained cook with experience in public or private restaurant operations. You are proactive, solution-focused, and have good teamwork skills. You show a great interest in food and people and strive to convey the best possible dining experience in its entirety. You can lead both yourself and your colleagues with the guest's best interest in focus.
You are computer literate and communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of dietary data programs is an advantage.
