JENSEN Adult Education is expanding in Stockholm and is now launching labor market training in Electrical Engineering commissioned by the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). We are now looking for a vocational teacher specializing in Service and Installation Electrician who wants to help develop Sweden's best vocational training.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of vocational teacher at JENSEN komvux, you will have the opportunity, together with engaged colleagues and supportive management, to train tomorrow's electricians. We work by the motto "all students are my students" and take pride in delivering results. Your main responsibilities include:

• Theoretical and practical teaching within the core subjects of the Electricity and Energy program.
• Supervision in our laboratory environments.
• Testing and mapping (validation) of participants' prior knowledge.
• Follow-up and documentation of participants' progress according to the Swedish Public Employment Service's requirements.
• Contribute to creating Sweden's best workplace for employees and students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a confident leader in the classroom and a clear role model for our participants. According to the Swedish Public Employment Service's requirement profile for this assignment, either:

Option 1:

• At least 6 years of industry experience (electrical engineering) within the last 12-year period (can be experience from employment in industry companies, self-employment in the industry, or vocational teacher in the requested subjects).
• At least 1 year of pedagogical work experience in supporting individuals in their study environment.
• Completed upper secondary education in electrical engineering with at least a grade of Pass.

Option 2:

• Licensed vocational teacher within the educational area of electrical engineering within the last 12-year period.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a vocational teacher within the educational area of electrical engineering.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of documented professional experience from the electrical industry.
• Competence: Broad competence in installation, automation, and alarm technology (ETG experience is meritorious). Documented experience of teaching or supervision.
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, corresponding to at least level C1/SVA 3, as profession-oriented language support is a central part of the position.

It is meritorious if you have a teaching license.
