The home care service in Vänersborg is divided into several different groups that together form a whole. In Vargön, the home care service consists of two work groups that share the same premises and work closely together in a common cluster, which creates good conditions for cooperation and support.

The work is scheduled in a rolling eight-week schedule where you, by submitting requests, can influence your working hours to create a sustainable balance between work and leisure. You always have the right to eleven hours of night rest between shifts, and the working time includes day, evening, and every other weekend.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse in home care, you are part of the daily work at the unit. You work based on Chapter 4, Section 1 of the Social Services Act, and our goal is to strengthen or provide opportunities for the user to live an independent life. The tasks are varied and can also be complex depending on the user's needs. As an assistant nurse in home care, you work with usual tasks within care and social services. You will work closely with the user with nursing tasks and be a support in daily life.

Your professional role also includes performing delegated health and medical care tasks, being part of a contact team regarding the user, writing and updating implementation plans, ombudsman roles such as replanner on weekends, social documentation, and contributing to the development of the business. We consider it meritorious if you have experience working as a "Permanent Care Contact".

We work in various digital systems to facilitate and ensure good quality in the tasks. Our planning and documentation system is LifeCare Planning and LifeCare Mobile Care (LMO). We have MCSS for signing delegated HSL tasks as well as digital locks and medicine cabinets at the users' homes.

Service interventions such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping are performed by an external actor, which means that you as an assistant nurse can focus more on performing nursing interventions. Since we work in ordinary housing, you may get to work in homes where there are fur animals.

Qualifications

You should have a positive view of humanity, be calm and confident in yourself, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a group. You should also have the ability to build relationships with other people, be flexible, have good treatment, be easy to cooperate with, and be sensitive to the care recipient's needs.

You need to be able to master the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as have basic technical knowledge such as handling mobile phones, apps, and computers. We place great importance on personal suitability.

You have studied the Care and Social Services program, and we would like you to have several years of experience in similar tasks. Upon employment, you will be required to provide proof of the right to use the professional title "Assistant Nurse".

A B-driving license and cycling proficiency are required.
