Information about the position

M&R Mekan & Konstruktion is a Skellefteå-based industrial company focused on customized comprehensive solutions in mechanical workshops, structural steelwork, design, and assembly. The company works on everything from smaller special projects to larger industrial solutions and has built a strong brand through quality, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach.

In the role of industrial assembler, you will work broadly within production, assembly, and workshop tasks. The work takes place primarily in the workshop but also on-site at the customer for assembly and installations, mainly locally within the Skellefteå area.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues in a tight-knit team where collaboration, responsibility, and safety are important parts of everyday life. Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

The tasks vary depending on the project but may include among other things:

• Assembly and mechanical workshop work
• Reading drawings and manufacturing based on specifications
• Welding and processing of different steel materials
• Installation and assembly on-site at the customer
• Repair, adaptation, and improvement work
• Work on both large and small industrial projects

We are looking for you who

To thrive in this role, we believe you are a practical person who enjoys varied tasks and has a solution-oriented mindset. You are responsible, flexible, and appreciate working together with others.

We would like you to have:

• Experience from industry, workshops, or assembly work
• Good proficiency in reading drawings
• Experience in welding or mechanical work
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Welding licenses
• Experience with hot work
• Forklift or crane operator certificates
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience with mobile work platforms or fall protection
• English proficiency in spoken and written form

All candidates in the final stage will undergo background checks.
