Nyåkers Pepparkakor was founded in 1952 and is today the world's second-largest producer of gingerbread. In addition to classic heart-shaped and round gingerbread cookies in beautiful tin boxes, the assortment includes gingerbread cookies in various flavors such as vanilla and orange, gingerbread dough, gingerbread houses, and organic options. Nyåkers also produces almond fudge, cardamom buns, and a dozen other small pastries. The company currently has an annual turnover of over 90 million SEK, with exports accounting for 40 percent. Gingerbread cookies make up 90 percent of the sales. The major markets outside of Scandinavia are the USA, Canada, and Japan. Since its founding in 1952, the factory in Nyåker has been renovated several times, and in August 2012, a new facility was opened in Bjurholm. Nyåker currently employs 50 people. Despite success and growth for over 60 years, Nyåkers remains a family business that values its traditions. The cookies are baked in the same traditional way they always have been – right here in Västerbotten.

For the upcoming summer season, we are looking for you who want to work extra as needed as a bakery worker with shift duties at our facilities in Nyåker and Bjurholm. We are seeking a positive team player who enjoys working in a group, has an interest in learning the factory's production flow, and can work independently.

A forklift license is a merit.

The position involves packaging cookies and quality control. Duties also include refilling materials, pulling pallets, shrink-wrapping, labeling, etc. You are responsible for ensuring that work is performed according to the rules and procedures applicable to your area of responsibility. Swedish is the working language.

A valid B-driver's license and access to a personal car are required, as you need to be able to commute to both of our factories.
