The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, and adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees across 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are passionate about Science and Technology subjects (NO) and driven by subject development. You strive to stay updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental monitoring and further education. In your role, you teach Science and Technology (NO) in grades 7-9, along with related tasks such as preparation and follow-up of teaching, as well as grading. You are part of a work team and participate in the team's joint work. You actively participate in the school's values-based work and work inclusively. Mentoring is a central part of your role, involving social contact with students and classes, communication with guardians, handling absences, development talks, and cooperation with authorities and social services. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Who You Are

Requirements:

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach Science and Technology (NO) in grades 7–9.
• Previous experience working in grades 7-9 with mentoring responsibilities.
• Documented strong subject knowledge.
• Good collaboration skills and a professional attitude – you thrive working in teams and contributing to the school's joint development.
• Very good language skills in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. A language test will be conducted according to Botkyrka Municipality's guidelines.

Merits:

• Eligibility in an additional subject, preferably Technology.
• Experience in primary school teaching, where you adapt teaching to students' different needs.
• Competence in digital tools and learning platforms, such as V-Klass, Google Classroom, or similar.
• Education or experience in NO-related projects.

As a person, you are interested in staying updated and are at the forefront in your subjects. You are passionate about school development and driven by seeing students achieve good results. You are relationship-building and collaborative to ensure the needs of the individual and the organization are met. You must also be structured to deliver high-quality teaching.
