What will you do?

As an NDT Technician at DEKRA, you will:

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on aircraft, helicopters, and components
  • Work with several different aircraft types and technical environments
  • Travel extensively to customer sites and airports across the Nordic region, with occasional international assignments
  • Work closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues while contributing to safety, reliability, and quality within aviation maintenance

The role offers a high degree of freedom, mobility, and responsibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variation, technical challenges, and working in dynamic environments.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a strong technical mindset who enjoys practical work, takes responsibility, and thrives in an environment where no two days look exactly the same.

We believe you have:

  • Certification within the following NDT methods: EN 9712 - ET2, UT1, and PT2
  • Good communication skills in English
  • A valid driver’s license (Class B)
  • Good computer skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work away from home

It is considered a strong advantage if you also have:

  • Previous experience within aviation, for example as an aircraft mechanic/technician or in a similar technical role
  • Certification according to EN 4179
  • Knowledge of Swedish, Danish, or another Nordic language

Personal qualities will be an important part of the selection process. We are looking for someone who is reliable, curious, adaptable, and motivated by continuous learning and development. You enjoy taking responsibility, solving technical challenges, and adapting to different customer environments and situations.
