Ready for a new challenge? We are now looking for a new colleague to join Team Alne!
Alneskolan is located at the top of the Bonäset residential area. The school is surrounded by a beautiful natural environment with wind protection and a lit jogging track. The area is located approximately 4 kilometers from the center of Örnsköldsvik. From Järvedsvägen, you can quickly reach the school via "Slinger", a walking path through the forest that gets your heart pumping!
Alneskolan has students from preschool class up to grade 9. In addition, there are three after-school care units and seven preschool units. Three principals work at the school.

Responsibilities
You will, together with a team of competent and driven colleagues, be responsible for teaching mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), and Technology in grades 7 and 9. The position includes mentoring, as well as the documentation and contacts that the role entails. A key part of the job is collaborating with colleagues and establishing and maintaining good contact with guardians. The position is 80%.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a teacher's degree and subject eligibility in mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), and Technology for grades 7–9.
You should have strong and clear classroom leadership, a wide pedagogical toolkit, and a well-developed formative approach to teaching. You create clarity in your teaching with a focus on structure, context, and good relationships. You have the knowledge and ability to adapt teaching to the needs of groups and individuals. We would like you to have experience leading group processes.
Even if you have qualifications other than a certified comprehensive school teacher, you are welcome to apply. In the event of employment, the position will be time-limited based on the certification requirements for permanent positions.

We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as the Municipality of Örnsköldsvik is included in both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.
In our municipality, a number of positions are placed in security classes, which means a security clearance may be conducted. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
