Do you want to make a real difference for other people? Älvens Särskilda Boende is now looking for a nursing assistant who wants to contribute to creating a secure and meaningful everyday life for our residents. We work in a person-centered way and strive to give each individual the best possible care and quality of life. Here you become part of an engaged team working together to create a good home environment and a developing workplace. The role of team leader involves certain administrative tasks. We offer an individually adapted introduction and necessary training so that you feel secure in your role.

Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing person-centered care and support in the residents' daily lives, focusing on promoting health, well-being, and independence. Duties include providing personal care, participating in social activities and rehabilitative efforts, as well as handling cleaning and laundry. You are also expected to:

• Perform delegated tasks from healthcare, such as medication management.
• Collaborate with relatives, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other colleagues to create the best possible care and support.
• Follow current routines and working methods, for example through social documentation and daily rehabilitation.
• Contribute to a positive and secure environment for residents, relatives, and colleagues.

The role of team leader includes, among other things, schedule planning, staffing, mentoring employees, and collaboration with other operations.

Qualifications

Nursing assistant education. Experience working in elderly care is an advantage, and we value personal qualities that make you suitable for working with people in vulnerable life situations. Experience with various administrative tasks. Knowledge of systems such as TimeCare and Wisma is an advantage. We are looking for someone who:

• is a responsible and empathetic person who puts the residents' needs at the center
• has good teamwork skills and enjoys working in a team
• is good at communicating both verbally and in writing

Conditions

• The position is 100% and working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts according to the roster.
• Resource shifts are included as part of the schedule.
• A certificate from the Police Authority's criminal record is required prior to employment.
