About the Care Administration

The Care Administration is responsible for care and support in ordinary and special housing, as well as for individuals in need of municipal health and medical care. The goal is for the elderly to be able to live as active and independent a life as possible. The guiding star in our work is a health-promoting approach, where we value teamwork highly. The administration has approximately 700 employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a summer substitute or hourly paid care assistant/nursing aide within Nybro Municipality, you will work to support and develop our clients in their daily lives so that they can live as independently as possible. No two days are alike, and your workday will vary depending on our clients' needs.

Your main tasks involve supporting the client in their daily life with personal care, cleaning, meals, and social interaction. You will also document your various interventions.

Within Nybro Municipality, there are several different units to work in. You may work in a special housing facility or with clients who remain at home but need support in their daily lives. If you have specific preferences regarding where you would like to work, please state this in your application. Solo work is also part of the role.

Qualifications

No previous work experience is required, but for some positions, primarily within home care, a B-class driver's license is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability as you will play a significant role in our clients' daily lives.
