Job Description
As a train assembler, you will become an important part of the production team where we work with maintenance, conversions, and modernization of trains. The work is varied and requires both technical understanding and precision.
The work is located with a global leader in the railway sector, and in Motala, there is a rich and modern workshop environment. Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly and disassembly of components.
- Simple electrical installations and cable routing.
- Work according to technical drawings and instructions.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position:
- Experience: You have worked as an assembler previously, preferably in heavy industry, vehicles, or workshops.
- Technical competence: Very good experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Manual dexterity: You are skilled with hand tools and accustomed to heavy lifting or torque tightening.
- Safety: A high level of safety awareness and precision in everything you do.
- Forklift license.
- Overhead crane license.
- Language: Good knowledge of Swedish is required to understand work instructions.
Merits:
- Previous experience with bogies or rail-bound vehicles.
- Education in hydraulics or pneumatics.
