The Competence Development Institute Vocational College is now looking for a teacher/trainer for the program Specialist Assistant in Elderly Care. Together with the rest of the team, you will drive and develop the education forward. This role involves, among other things, planning and designing courses, teaching, and supervising students.

Strong pedagogical skills combined with an interest in people and the industry are essential. We are looking for an engaged and structured team player with the ability to communicate clearly.

Work experience and background

• Pedagogical education – or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer
• Registered Nurse or degree as a Specialist Assistant in Elderly Care – or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer
• Current, long-term professional experience in elderly care
• Experience with distance learning
• Very good IT skills and the ability to quickly master different systems
• Very good knowledge of digital tools and the most common Office programs
• Experience in course development

It is an advantage if you appreciate varied and stimulating work and have a strong creative side. You have an eye for order and detail, can collaborate with others, and simultaneously work independently and make priorities. You have a good manner of dealing with people and a strong sense of service. You are quick and efficient, solution-focused, and results-oriented.

Employment type
The position is a permanent employment with a mandatory 6-month probationary period. Travel is included in the role, approx. 1-2 times/month – overnight stays may occur. The travel is linked to teaching taking place at other locations as well as meetings within the organization.
