About the role:

As an Innovation Leader, you will have the opportunity to work within one of the most dynamic and significant areas of the future. You will become part of the AI business area, in close collaboration with the Health and Mobility business areas, where you, together with engaged colleagues, drive innovative processes that create value. Here we design and lead innovative processes together with our owner, Region Skåne. We are looking for you who want and can drive innovation through experience with innovation methodology, modern technology, and business acumen. You will drive and contribute to selling and delivering projects to Region Skåne, as well as providing advice and support to organizations. You will learn how AI can be used in healthcare and the opportunities and challenges it entails.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an Innovation Leader within Healthcare and AI with strong business and innovation management skills. You are an independent and proactive person who is confident in external contexts and accustomed to engaging in dialogue with various types of stakeholders. You have a strong ability to build relationships and thrive with high external presence, where collaboration and communication are central parts of the work. At the same time, you are curious and development-oriented, with confidence in testing new approaches when required.

Requirements for the applicant:

  • Education in one of the following healthcare-related fields: physician, nurse, hospital physicist, psychologist, physiotherapist, biomedical scientist.
  • Full proficiency in the Swedish language is required.

Applications that do not meet the above requirements or are written in English will not be considered.

Meritorious but not required:

  • Experience in innovation and process management.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify needs, formulate value, and sell initiatives.
  • Relevant knowledge of AI and experience working with AI projects in practice.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Other:

  • Start: Immediately, subject to notice period.
  • Scope:
    • Option 1: Part-time (8–20 hours) for those who wish to combine their position within Region Skåne with this role. Fixed-term employment for 6–12 months with possibility of extension.
    • Option 2: Full-time (40 hours per week), permanent position with a 6-month probation period.
  • Location: Innovation Skåne, Malmö.
